Create New Album
To create a new photo album,
select File - New from the menu bar. This will display the following
wizard.

Photo Album Name - Type the name of the photo album. This name cannot be changed, so choose it carefully.
Local Directory - Select the directory where you want the photo album including source images, and all generated image and HTML files. Choose a directory with enough disk space to store the required files. If the user's system contains Internet Explorer 4.0 with the active desktop option, the software will default to 'My Albums' directory under the user's 'My Documents' folder.
Root Page Name - Select or type the name of the root html page. The default for this is index.htm since most web servers will look for this name. Some servers look for names like default.htm, or Welcome.htm. You can name the root page anything you want, and link to it from another web page. Choose this name carefully, since version 1.0 of ePhotoAlbum does not allow this name to be changed after the album is created.
When finished, click the 'Next' button, which will take you to then next page.

If the user does not plan on publishing the photo album to the internet, this page can be left blank. The user can enter these parameters at any time by selecting View - Photo Album Properties from the menu bar.
FTP Server - Type the name of FTP server you want to publish the photo album to. If you have an ISP account that provides a web site, then you should have an FTP server that you can use with this program. If you are not familiar with your web server, contact your ISP or visit their website for information on uploading a web site.
Remote Directory - Type the directory path on the web server where you want the photo album to be uploaded. Most ISPs place a user's home page in a directory such 'html', or 'public_html'. If you don't want the photo album to be published to your root home page, you can specify a sub directory such as 'html/PhotoAlbum1'. By doing this, you can publish multiple photo albums to your web site without affect your existing home page, if you have one.
FTP User name - This should be your regular account username.
FTP password -
This should
be your regular account password.
When finished, click the 'Finish' button. You now have an ePhotoAlbum.
