Inserting Images From Scanners and Digital Cameras
ePhotoAlbum can acquire images from any device which has a TWAIN driver. TWAIN is a standard interface for acquiring images from a device. Consult you scanner or camera documentation to determine if it has TWAIN support.
To determine if your device currently has a TWAIN driver installed, select Insert from the menu bar. At the bottom of the popup menu will be a list of TWAIN device currently installed on the system. If your device is not listed there, you will need to consult your device documentation for instructions on how to install the twain driver.
To insert images from a TWAIN device do the following:
In the Photo Album Bar,
select the thumbnail page you want to insert the images into.
Select the Insert menu
from the menu bar.
From the popup menu,
select the desired device. (There may be more than one). This should bring
up the image acquisition user interface provided by the device manufacturer.
If an interface does not appear, your device may not be connected correctly.
Each device's user
interface will be different. Consult the device documentation if you have
questions about how to use the TWAIN user interface. Also be aware that some
TWAIN drivers allow the acquisition of only one image at a time, while
others allow acquisition of multiple images. ePhotoAlbum will work in either
case.
After closing the TWAIN
user interface, the images will be inserted into the photo album.
